Mondelēz, owner of brands such as Oreo, Toblerone, and Milka, promised to eliminate cages years ago. But to date the company reports only 82% global cage-free progress. Why doesn’t Mondelēz report their progress by region? It’s time to deliver!

Will Mondelēz fulfill their commitment this year, or will the company continue to sugarcoat cruelty?

Mondelēz must be held accountable!

Demand transparency on their current progress by region, and ask the company to permanently eliminate cages from their egg supply chain.

Up to 10 hens are locked in a cage. Each bird’s floor space is shorter and narrower than a sheet of paper.
We estimate that more than two million hens per year will be cage-free when Mondelēz delivers on their commitment.
Companies such as Nestlé and Grupo Bimbo already publish detailed regional reports to demonstrate equity in their global commitments.
